Recently, ENHYPEN‘s Jungwon and aespa‘s Winter were the ones to have been caught in such rumours.

According to a report by Koreaboo, on December 10, KST, a netizen shared several photos on X, claiming them to be of ENHYPEN‘s Jungwon and aespa‘s Winter. The post stated that the two K-pop idols were spotted at a bar in Gangnam District in Seoul in late October. The post also claimed that the duo was together in the bar, but they exited the place separately.

The post featured pictures of a masked man wearing an all-black outfit, whereas a woman was seen in a red tracksuit. The user claimed that the man was Jungwon, as he was spotted around 2:30 AM later that night in Yongsan, where his dorm is located, wearing the same outfit from the bar. Meanwhile, Winter was wearing the same red tracksuit that she had worn during an earlier dance challenge. Jungwon’s voice was also allegedly heard in the video shared by the user in the same thread.

ENHYPEN‘s Jungwon And aespa‘s Winter’s Agencies React

After the post received immense attention from the netizens, Jungwon and Winter’s agencies came forward to address the speculations. ENHYPEN’s agency BE: LIFT warned that they will be taking “strong action against acts that invade the artist’s privacy as well as create and spread malicious rumours.” aespa’s agency SM Entertainment released a statement via the Korean media outlet OSEN.

They said, “The individual who distributed the photos contacted a media outlet with the intent of monetary gain and attempted to communicate with us directly. However, when the media outlet refused to facilitate the tip-off for monetary purposes, the individual spread the photos online with malicious intent. We will be taking legal action.”

Other Pieces Of Evidence Hinting At ENHYPEN‘s Jungwon And aespa Star Winter’s Alleged Dating Rumours

After the agencies denied their dating rumours, sasaengs (stalker fans) shared posts on the social media site Doubon, claiming that Jungwon and Winter were indeed dating. From matching display names on Kakaotalk to revealing that the two K-pop idols used a lesser-known messaging app to text one another during a Prada event that Jungwon attended on October 24.

The stalker fans further revealed that they found Jungwon’s private Instagram account, which follows the aespa member. Finally, the sasaengs disclosed that the ENHYPEN member had allegedly called a cab service, which dropped him off at a car park in a hotel or an apartment complex.

Amid all this, another X user claimed that TWICE’s Nayeon and TREASURE’s Asahi were present at the bar with Jungwon and Winter. They also mentioned that Winter was on a date with Asahi and not Jungwon. While the post has now been deleted, it allegedly featured pictures of Winter and Asahi sporting matching couple rings. However, the rumour didn’t last long as fans of the TREASURE member pointed out that the pictures were photoshopped.

ENHYPEN Jungwon’s Smoking Rumours

ENHYPEN’s Jungwon got caught in another rumour. An X user claimed that the 20-year-old K-pop idol is a smoker. The post mentioned that Jungwon was caught in the action.

ENHYPEN Jungwon’s Statement

After such serious allegations, Jungwon decided to speak up. Through a live stream, the ENHYPEN member denied both the dating and smoking rumours once and for all.

According to the same report by Koreaboo, Jungwon said, “I’m not dating, and there was something about me smoking too. I don’t smoke either. I don’t know how those people [who uploaded the photos] are going to deal with the consequences, but I’m not dating, nor am I smoking.”
